In a breezy, tropical lead single with pulsing bass rhythms; Razaq El Toro shares his interpretation of Oreku’s ‘Yep Yep’ through the sound of Eko Electronic (Lagos Electronic) a genre he has pioneered that re-imagines Afrobeats in an electronic music space.
Remixed by Best Friends Club the follow up single is a lush lo fi house treatment of Oreku’s ‘Kabylie Acid’; with an upbeat tempo and shuffled beats this track should have no trouble pumping up a sweaty dancefloor.
Hosting such a varied meltingpot of talent with contributions from Astrolope, Animal Party, Acote, Âróly Tärîq, Coy Haste, Oreku, Saint Amethyst and Spookyfish; ’Stereo Ferment Remixed’ features a unique blend of upbeat house vibes and dark, leftfield electronica that offers the listener a multitude of moods to induldge in.
